The Fit Guarantee Does Not Guarantee Consistent Future Orders
My first Fit Guarantee order achieved a perfect fit, so I trusted the saved measurement profile and ordered seven additional pairs of trousers over several orders. Most arrived with a consistent fit and I was satisfied. However, one pair was clearly cut differently: the upper thigh curved sharply inward and was so narrow that I could not even put the trousers on. Other trousers made to the same measurements did not have this shape. Despite the photographs and measurements I provided, StudioSuits refused a refund or remake under its company policy. The only compensation offered was a fixed-value gift certificate usable toward a future purchase. In practical terms, this means that a defect in an existing order is compensated only if the customer spends more money with the company. More importantly, even if the first Fit Guarantee order fits perfectly, there is no assurance that later garments will reproduce that fit consistently. Buy only if you are willing to accept that risk. Since consistency is the entire reason to establish a custom measurement profile, I cannot recommend this service.
