Great at Connecting Me to Service Providers
After posting my transportation needs for my kittens, I got almost 20 bids relatively quickly. I was connected with Smoky Mountain Express which was a great service to work with! I gave CitizenShippers 4 out of 5 since the only way I knew there would be an additional fee outside of the price of the service was because Smoky Mountain Express shared the fees in their profile. Because of the long distance, it was quite a hefty fee (over 200). I would have been blindsided without the warning from the service provider. I also wish there was a way to pay the seller through CitizenShippers instead of directly. I know there is an escrow account you can pay for pets only but it was not readily available as a payment option. It worked out but I would rather have more peace of mind when paying a stranger. Using personal Venmo/CashApp/PayPal etc. seems more risky than paying CitizenShippers who could then pay out to the service provider after a safe delivery. Overall, I would use this service again to transport pets!
