Terrible customer service policies
I got two boxes from good chop and I would say the quality of the meat was fine. I don’t think it was anything spectacular or worth writing home about necessarily, but it was perfectly fine. my main issue and why I’m giving them such a low rating and why I canceled my subscription is their customer service. my third box wasn’t delivered to the right apartment. They had me call the delivery company to hunt down where my boxes delivered, so I did. Then I went to the other apartment to see if my Box was there and it was not, so when I called goodchop to try to get a re-Delivery, they told me it would take 5 to 7 days to process my re-delivery request and that they couldn’t tell me when I would even be expecting to get my next box which is kind of a big deal in the hottest days of Southern California. They had no process for expediting bad deliveries, and they had no way of canceling the re-delivery request when I wanted to cancel my order altogether and just get a refund. so overall I wouldn’t say there’s any issue with the quality of their product, but I think their customer service policies are trash. for that reason alone I don’t recommend it, especially if you’re relying on this for groceries and feeding yourself and your family
