Squarespace used a sneaky way to raise their yearly subscriptions leaving the customer unable to to make decisions in real time. My yearly subscription auto renewed on July 2 and I was charged $276. On the email I received Squarespace never told me that I had 14 days to cancel the subscription. 16 days later, they sent me another email advising that the yearly subscription price was going to be raised 27% the following year. I immediately looked for another competitor (Go Daddy) that offered me a better deal. I immediately canceled the subscription but they flat our denied to reimbursed me the money because the 14 days had passed. Thank you to the Squrespace team for an expedited resolution to my matter. They refunded my renewal subscription fee.
