Very Disappointing Buyer Protection and Customer Support
Very Disappointing Buyer Protection and Customer Support I purchased two League of Legends accounts from a seller on G2G. Initially, everything seemed fine, but after using the accounts, I started becoming seriously concerned about their safety. Because of the unusual characteristics and levels of the accounts, other players repeatedly accused me of buying them and even threatened to report me. This made me worried that the accounts could potentially be detected and banned by Riot Games, especially since I had concerns about how the accounts may have been created or leveled. I contacted the seller directly, and he was actually willing to provide me with two replacement accounts. However, he asked me to change the review I had previously left on his store. Unfortunately, changing the review was not possible. I then contacted G2G customer support and explained the entire situation. At first, they told me to resolve the issue directly with the seller, which I attempted to do. The seller was willing to cooperate and provide replacements, but because the review could not be changed, I asked G2G for help in finding a solution. Their final response was simply that more than 14 days had passed since the purchase and therefore they could not do anything. This is what I find most disappointing. I was not asking G2G for something unreasonable. There was a genuine concern regarding the safety of the purchased accounts, and the seller himself was willing to provide replacements. Despite this, G2G customer support refused to help facilitate any solution and simply referred to their 14-day policy. In my experience, buyer protection on G2G appears to end completely after 14 days, regardless of whether a legitimate problem arises afterward. I expected much better customer support and buyer protection from such a large marketplace. Buyers should be aware that if an issue appears after the 14-day period, G2G may be unwilling or unable to assist, even when the seller is willing to cooperate. Very disappointing experience.
