I booked a hotel and it showed it was no longer taking bookings AFTER I booked it
I booked a hotel and it showed it was available with the pricing. After I clicked to book it I was then informed that the hotel was no longer taking any bookings and that my booking was cancelled. It would have been better if the user could have been informed whilst booking that the hotel was no longer taking bookings instead of receiving the notification after booking. Many thanks to the consultant for calling me and explaining the situation, I appreciate the time and effort taken. 5 stars for Tripadvisor staff but still 2 stars for the backend software. Would have been useful to know that someone else was also booking the hotel instead of being surprised after.
