G50 Gravel wheels with D28 hub
I got the G50 Gravel wheels with D28 Microspline hub. I was unsure if I should purchase the G25 or G50. Chatting with one of the employees they recommended the G50s for my use case. This combination was not available from the European warehouse. Even though they shipped from China I received them after only 7 days in Switzerland. Packaging seems very well done, there were no visible marks on the package or the wheels itself. The quality of the wheels seems to be very high. There are no visual irregularities in the carbon lay-up. Visually the wheels are very true and all of the spokes seem tensioned equally. Unfortunately I don’t have measuring devices to quantify this. They come with tape for the wheel bed and tube-less valves which I did not use since I run TPU tubes. The hub is ridiculously loud. It sounds very regular in its pitch. I might add some grease in the future if I annoy enough people. I don’t have too many references but the ride-feel is phenomenal. They absorb a lot of the bumps in the road and are extremely responsive.
