Charged again after I cancelled my subscription Last month I cancelled my EWA Premium subscription, which I had bought on the website and which is billed through Paddle. I cancelled it through paddle.net, which forwarded my request to EWA. Despite this, I was charged $19 again this month for a service I don't use. Apple Subscriptions shows no active subscription, which made the problem hard to track down. Web subscriptions are billed separately through Paddle, and the cancellation request I sent there did not stop the charges. I have now emailed support asking EWA to cancel the subscription immediately, refund the latest charge, and confirm both in writing. I will update this review depending on how the issue is resolved. Advice to others: think twice before buying EWA on the website. Subscribing takes a minute, but stopping the charges is a different story. Apple shows nothing, and in my case a cancellation request through Paddle wasn't enough. If you've already subscribed, watch your bank statement for "PADDLE.NET* EWA", don't consider your subscription cancelled until EWA confirms it in writing, and be ready to dispute the charge with your bank. Judging by other reviews here, I'm far from the only one this has happened to.
