A disappointing decline in service quality — six months of frustration and no clear resolution
I have used Foundit in the past, and my previous two experiences were considerably better. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely changed my perception of the company and the quality of its paid services. On 15 April 2026, I purchased a six-month Career Booster package, costing approximately SGD 500, based on what was communicated to me during the sales discussion. I was informed that, following the resume and profile optimisation process, the service would also involve aligning approximately four interview opportunities per month. I want to be very clear: I never expected Foundit to guarantee that I would pass an interview or secure employment. Those outcomes depend on the candidate and the employer. My concern is the difference between the service represented before payment and what I experienced afterwards. Over the following months, I received numerous automated job recommendations, many of which were poorly aligned with my professional background, seniority and career direction. Some were outdated, while others were opportunities I had already identified and applied for independently. I struggled to see meaningful value from the paid package beyond automated recommendations and profile visibility. There were also repeated profile-related issues. Despite my resume and profile having been reviewed and optimised through Foundit’s team, I continued receiving notifications stating that my resume was outdated, my employment information needed updating or important details were missing. This created further confusion and unnecessary follow-up. What has been most disappointing, however, is the complaint-resolution process. I raised my concerns directly and provided the requested screenshots and supporting information. I was initially asked to allow one week for review. That period passed, followed by repeated requests for more time, without a substantive explanation, decision or clear resolution timeline. As I write this in October, my six-month package is approaching its expiry on 15 October, yet my complaint remains unresolved. I have requested a refund and a final decision, but have not received a satisfactory response. I do appreciate the individuals who have acknowledged my messages and those who have tried to assist with technical matters. However, responsiveness from individual employees is not the same as accountability or resolution from the company. My disappointment is not simply about the outcome of a job search. It is about sales expectations, service delivery, relevance, transparency and customer accountability. Having experienced Foundit previously, I find the decline in service quality particularly disappointing. I would strongly encourage prospective customers to obtain written confirmation of exactly what a paid package includes, what outcomes are and are not promised, and how complaints or refund requests will be handled before making payment. I hope Foundit takes this feedback seriously and provides a proper resolution rather than allowing the paid service period to expire without addressing the complaint.
