Agoda Breach of Contract: Defaulted on Official Written Reimbursement Commitment (Booking ID: 1740852874)

[DAILY UPDATE - DAY 4 (Oct 23, 2026)] Day 4 of public accountability. Over 30 days have passed since Agoda defaulted on its written reimbursement agreement. Agoda Management continues to show zero accountability regarding the full KRW 540,262 refund. Sending repetitive automated templates does NOT alter Senior CSAT Representative Eyu's official authorization or the verified Sept 20 approval record. The CASE Singapore complaint (Ref: T2026105085) remains actively logged. Tier 3 Management must intervene and honor the commitment immediately. [DAILY UPDATE - DAY 3 (Oct 22, 2026)] It has been OVER A MONTH since Agoda defaulted on its official written commitment. This is Day 3 of my daily public updates. Still ZERO direct email or meaningful resolution from Agoda Management regarding the full reimbursement of KRW 540,262. Hiding behind automated survey emails and canned responses does NOT alter Senior CSAT Representative Eyu's official written authorization or your Sept 20 verification record. CASE Singapore complaint (Ref: T2026105085) remains active. Demand Tier 3 Management to stop delaying and issue the full refund immediately. [DAILY UPDATE - DAY 2 (Oct 21, 2026)] Still ZERO meaningful response or direct email from Agoda Headquarters regarding the full reimbursement of KRW 540,262 officially authorized by Senior Representative Eyu. Agoda continues to default on its written commitment while hiding behind automated survey emails. CASE Singapore (Ref: T2026105085) investigation is ongoing. Demand Tier 3 Management to step in and issue the full refund immediately. -------------------------------------------------- I am writing this to warn international travelers about Agoda's severe breach of contract and refusal to honor their official written commitments. Summary of Facts: 1. Unilateral Cancellation & Official Authorization: Agoda abruptly canceled my original booking (ID: 1740852874). Their Senior CSAT Representative (Eyu) officially issued a written authorization on Sept 18/19, authorizing me to rebook alternative accommodation with a cash reimbursement cap of KRW 581,012. 2. Compliance & Official Verification: Following their exact written instructions, I booked an alternative accommodation for KRW 540,262 (well within their authorized cap). Agoda's team officially reviewed, verified, and approved my receipt on Sept 20. 3. Breach of Contract: After I completed the stay and requested payment, Agoda defaulted on their written agreement, arbitrarily slashing the reimbursement to KRW 249,756 without any legal basis, and ignoring further communications (CASE Singapore Ref: T2026105085). Demand: I have complete proof, including official email authorizations, receipt verification records, and timeline records. I demand Agoda Headquarters honor Eyu's official written commitment and refund the full amount of KRW 540,262 immediately. Do not trust Agoda's written promises—they will go back on their word after you spend your money!
