Review of AMYET eBikes – G60 V9
My experience with the AMYET G60 V9 has been mixed. The rear hub motor cable developed damage where it exits the axle, leaving the bike unusable. I had not cut, modified, or repaired the wiring. Initially, the physical wire damage was excluded from warranty coverage. After communicating with customer support and providing the requested photos and information, the factory eventually approved a replacement motor at no charge. However, I was still responsible for approximately $85 in international shipping. I appreciate that AMYET ultimately approved the replacement motor, but the process took effort, and having to pay international shipping for a warranty replacement was disappointing. I recommend that potential buyers ask about warranty coverage for motor wiring and who pays shipping costs for replacement parts before purchasing. My overall experience with customer support was mixed: the issue was eventually addressed, but the process could have been easier.
