Overcharged for a poor room, and a refund that never arrived
I booked one night at Ginger Mumbai Airport through Agoda and was charged £70. Agoda's own listing shows the room at ₹5,040, about £40. For that price the room was tiny and dated: with the bathroom door open, there was barely space to reach the toilet, and the shower had old-fashioned taps. Separately, I cancelled another booking within Agoda's free cancellation period. Agoda took my £252.15 instantly, and its booking page says the full amount was refunded on 1 October 2026. More than three weeks later, it has not reached my card. Agoda now says refunds can take 30 to 45 business days. This is just mean and I won’t be using them again.
