During the process, they ran a hard inquiry on my credit and asked for additional bank statements, which I provided showing over $60,000 in transactions within a four-month period. Two hours after approval, they reversed course, claiming they “couldn’t verify my identity.” They never called or emailed to request basic ID verification (driver’s license, utility bill) items that take seconds to send. When I asked them to remove the hard inquiry since the loan never funded, they refused. When I tried to escalate to a manager, the representative I spoke with didn’t even know how to transfer me to one. A hard inquiry with no funded loan and no real attempt to verify identity, followed by a refusal to remove the inquiry, is a red flag. Be cautious before applying here.
