Company reactive to Trustpilot reviews
Updated my rating to 4 stars because the company responded to this original review and waived the return fees originally billed. As of today, I've received my full refund. Only reason they aren't 5 stars is because I had to go through this process to get this type of response in the first place. --------------------------------------------------------- Original review: I believe it is a legitimate website and store. I've purchased from them before and their name brand products are what they say. However, this only holds true if you like the product you've purchased, are happy with the quality and appearance, and don't need to return it. On my last purchase I'll make from them, I bought 2 pendant lights and a matching ceiling light. The first pendant light I opened was damaged. It was clear that the "brass" retainer ring was cheap aluminum painted with a brass paint. It was bent and scraped off in places. I decided I didn't want to hang something of this quality in my kitchen so asked to return all 3 lights. Lamps Plus would only cover shipping on the damaged lamp and required me to pay for the others. This is not good customer service or good business. $31 to keep a customer and show that you stand behind your products vs. losing a customer forever and being the proud recipient of bad reviews and other impacted customers down the road. Go buy your lamps at Amazon or any place that has modern return policies and stands behind their quality.
