: Out over $500+ in a single day—account blocked and zero support from Base44 or Wix
I am writing this review to warn others about my experience using Base44 and Wix. I built two applications on Base44, upgraded my plan, purchased a 1-year hosting package, and bought a domain (usmlecoaching.com) for one of my apps. Everything was working fine initially. However, just two hours after upgrading, my account and applications were completely blocked without any warning or valid reason. I was hit with errors and locked out of the work, hosting, and domain that I had just paid for. In a single day, I lost over $500+ for absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, the support experience has been non-existent: Base44: I generated multiple support tickets to find out why my account was flagged and to get access restored, but I received zero response or email back from their team. Wix: The payment for my domain went directly to Wix. When I reached out to Wix support regarding the domain I paid for, they deflected responsibility to Base44 and refused to offer real assistance or a refund, despite taking my money. Both platforms have left me completely stranded with no access to my domain, no access to my applications, and no resolution for the funds I spent. It feels like an absolute scam. I urge anyone considering Base44 or buying domains through their integration with Wix to be extremely cautious.
