Misleading gift cards
Giftly has a page for my business that appears prominently when people search for our gift cards. Customers have mistakenly believed they were purchasing an official gift card from us, when in fact we have no affiliation with Giftly and we receive none of the funds. While Giftly includes a disclaimer, the overall presentation is confusing (there is no way this is not intentional) because the page is branded with our business name and appears in search results for our gift cards. As a small business owner, I work hard to provide a good customer experience, and it’s frustrating when customers are unintentionally directed to a third-party service instead of our official gift cards. Please stop hurting small businesses and intentionally misleading the customers of small business owners.
