Did not receive the card, and half the balance was ALREADY CHARGED
I did not receive the card in the timeframe that was promised, so I called to check the status. The first time I called, I noticed that $48 was already deducted from the account. When I asked about this, the representative I spoke to told me that it was for the annual fee. The card was supposed to have a $35 annual fee. I also thought it was strange that they deducted it immediately - - before ever sending the card. A couple of days later, I got an email stating that the telephone number associated with the account had been updated. Since I had NOT changed the number and suspected FRAUD, I immediately called again. I checked the balance to see if the card had been used, and $400 had been charged to the total balance. I spoke to a representative about the changed phone number and the missing funds. They took me through the verification process, and simply stated, ok we changed it back. I asked for the account to be canceled since I had never even received the card, and was experiencing all of these issues. They stated that it would be disputed and they'd change the number back. I asked questions about who could have made the changes, such as which email addressed was used and what number was added to the account. The representative then told me that she could not divulge that information due to security concerns ON MY OWN ACCOUNT!!! There is something seriously OFF about this institution, and I would advise anyone NOT to consider applying for a card and putting your personal information and credit at risk!!!
