A complete scam and terrible customer service. Avoid Wix at all costs!
Terrible attitude towards their customers. Wix.com refused to issue a refund, hiding behind their so-called "company policy." Let me share the details: I had been a loyal customer using their basic LIGHT plan for three years. Two years ago, I pre-paid for two years in advance. A year later, I needed to launch an online store and decided to upgrade my subscription to the Business Premium plan. I paid an additional $275 for this two-year upgrade. Within just seven days, I discovered that due to technical issues on Wix's end, my online store could not connect to Facebook or any other third-party services. Well within the legal 14-day cancellation window, I canceled the Business Premium plan. First of all, instead of reverting my account, Wix completely disabled my entire domain and cut off all services, giving me no option to roll back to my previous pre-paid LIGHT Premium plan. Secondly, they flat out refused to refund the payment for the Business Premium plan. Endless back-and-forth communication with their automated support bot led absolutely nowhere. Wix refused the refund and refused to restore my original plan. This behavior borders on fraudulent activity. I highly DO NOT recommend using their service. If you value stability, business continuity, and helpful customer support, look elsewhere to other well-known platforms.
