I suggest replacing the “ Dishwasher Drain Hose Adapter Kit - 1/4-inch Quick Connect to 7/8-inch Fitting, Heavy-Duty Drain Filter for Garbage Disposal. That’s it unless you’re interested th your refrigerator water/ice line hooked up, it relatively simple! Good luck! BTW average plumbing services are starting around $700.
