I received a preapproved offer in the mail, I responded to the offer and it came back as approved and I was asked for my bank information to transfer the money. I received a call the system was down and this information had to be input manually. I gave the information, and was told the ACH for the loan was declined by my bank. I get ACH transfers daily for my business, so this seemed very bizarre. I was told because the ACH did not go through, they would not proceed with my loan - the website notes the ability to use a debit card as an alternative but this was not something they could do. I am extremely frustrated with this bait and switch. The loan noted as approved, I was told the funds would be released, but what seems like a system issue on OMF side, I was not able to go forward. I am hopeful this does not hit my credit report as this transaction was not my fault. I STRONGLY suggest you do not use this company. My local branch is extremely courteous, but they could not pull up the offer for me. So again, do NOT use this company.
