Gave my hubby a custom joke of the day coffee cup with a scannable code that takes him to the website that displays the jokes. The QR code looks good but is very hard for all the smartphones we have to read. When the site comes up it asks you the joke, and then you can click the link below it to see the answer. Suddenly it changed and won't display the link to get the answer unless I subscribe to something I don’t want to have anything to do with. I feel cheated and won't buy from them again. UPDATE: Macorner responded to my review asking for proof of what I said, so I sent them pictures. After receiving the pictures, they responded: “After investigating the issue, we confirmed that the issue was caused by a system update on our end making it impossible to view the joke. I’m happy to let you know that our technical team has now resolved the issue and the QR Code should work properly again.” Its still hard for me to scan the QR code, and I can’t believe they make changes to this very simple web site, and don’t bother checking to make sure the site’s basic functionality still works, before customer complaints roll in. On the good side, the cup has worked well as a cup, since the day I got it.
