Bad Customer Service
I completed the application and had an hard inquiry on my credit which said I was approved. I then get a call from Roy at One Main Finanical here in Omaha Nebraska and we go through the income pieces and he says I was accepted for two options. The option I chose was around $17,000. He told me to come in same day and conplete paperwork. Not even a second after the phone call ends, Roy calls me back and says he forgot to add my rent amount and once he did that, I went from being approved for $17,000 to not being approved at all because of his mistake by not asking all the income questions he was supposed to ask. I then call and ask to speak with the branch manager, Grant, and was told he was out and would be back in the next two hours. I decided to go to the office and speak with Grant because I knew he wasn't going to call me. Staff said he was in a meeting and would take my information and Grant would call. I told staff its a dire need and needed to speak with him as soon as possible. While waiting for about 30 minutes, I speak with Grant who stated that he spoke with Roy about the matter and that it was an accident of Rpy not getting my rent information. Grant then says that it was my srudenloans that denied me after my rent info because it showed I was paying an amount that was inaccurate. After I showed Grsnt proof of my payment for my dmstudnet loans, Grant then says he will send my application back through the underwriter as he is pretty sure he could get me approved and would call me back within the hour. I left the office around 330 ish and never heard back from Grant. I then waited until around 1030am the next day to sepak with Grant since he never returned my call yesterday, and was told he is in the phone and would call me back. I never heard from Grant yet again. At this point, the customer service at this location is horrible and if they can't help me, then call me and just say that. Grant and Roy both know the reasoning for me applying for the loan and if I didnt need it, I wouldn't bother with them but at least have the common courtesy to follow through with a phone call like you said you were so I know what my next move needs to be!
