Truly Outstanding
The Pilot Institute’s T.R.U.S.T. (The Recreational UAS Safety Test) course is, without exaggeration, one of the best-designed online learning experiences I’ve ever taken. It transforms what could have been a dry regulatory requirement into a smooth, friendly, and genuinely confidence‑building introduction to safe drone flying. From the moment you start, Pilot Institute makes everything feel effortless. The lessons are clear, concise, and beginner‑friendly, breaking down FAA rules in a way that actually makes sense. The interface is clean, fast, and intuitive — no clutter, no confusion, just straightforward guidance that respects your time. What really stands out is how approachable the material is. Even if you’re brand new to drones, the course explains concepts with real-world examples, simple language, and visuals that make learning feel natural. You never feel overwhelmed, and you never feel talked down to. It’s the perfect balance. The test itself is quick, painless, and supported by explanations that ensure you understand why each rule matters. And the instant certificate delivery is the cherry on top — no waiting, no hassle. Pilot Institute turns a mandatory FAA requirement into a genuinely enjoyable learning experience. It’s fast, free, professional, and surprisingly engaging. If you’re flying recreationally, this is absolutely the best place to take your TRUST test.
