I purchased the insurance thinking I might have to use it. The hotel I booked was for my blind sister and me. We were going to attend a family reunion. As the event got closer, my sister became very anxious about staying in the hotel thinking about the unfamiliar surroundings and more. So when it was clear she would not stay overnight I cancelled the reservation expecting to be refunded. I was denied the refund because a blind anxious sister wasn’t on your list of problems. Now I am out the 200 dollars and the 12 dollars I paid as a help for me. I never bought traveling insurance before and never will again.
