Bait and Switch
I ordered contact lenses once from this company, got a very good price, and had no problems. Yesterday, however, I was searching for the least expensive contacts online, and their ad came up, quoting $12/box for my particular type of lenses. I followed that link and made my order for one box. When I tried to complete the order, they added on a shipping fee of $12, which I expected, but then a $41 processing fee! I clicked on the question mark notation, and up popped their reasoning for using bait and switch tactics: competitors are hurting their sales, so they have to do this! And they acknowledge that it's not a good practice, as if doing so makes it honest. Unbelievable.
