The Bait-and-Switch is Real! Stay Away
Similarly to others, I was offered a "pre-approval" of $11,000 with all my documents supposedly already reviewed. Then, the day after I applied and my credit took the hard hit, I was told I was "actually" only approved for $8,500, and my application missing some documents. What documents? Oh, electricity bill, ma'am, for proof of residence. Okay, I sent that and got the amount negotiated back up to $11k. The next day (today) - same story, different actor. Suddenly "more" documents are needed even though I've given proof of my income, and the amount is back down to $8,500, "$9500 at the very most". And the APR I was quoted online was WAY lower than the 30% I was quoted over the phone! I'm desperate but not that desperate. Reprise Financial is lucky I don't have the time or gas to drive to Coppell and read them the riot act for their horrid customer service and outright lies.
