Unreliable service, unhelpful support.

In two separate trips (UAE and Hong Kong) they have suffered from "service degradation". Support is unhelpful and makes up repeat steps and restarts and go over the same settings multiple times, to inform you in the end that the issue was theirs all along. Takes at least an hour to get a replacement or alternative eSIM. The "service degradation" is also just a word for they don't know what's happening. Once I was so tired of their support having me go over setting that were working fine I just bought a 2nd eSIM which worked right away. Later that one stopped working but the old one started working again. The service is unreliable and support unbearable.

Everything works great and as expected. But ios apps ui is childish and confusing.

I have been using Airalo to more than 5…

I have been using Airalo to more than 5 countries since I started my account. Immediately I landed, I have no issue of connecting to use my data. Even though Airalo is more expensive compared to ESim from other provider, especially if I buy from Trip. com, which is really cheap.

The eSIM after activacion works great

The eSIM after activacion works great. The buying procedure and instalation also works great. My advise for clients is always to install when we are at the country itself for the settings of the local telecom work properly. The only and very important problem is after activacion and roaming connection, usually doesn't work. You have to select the companies that work with Airalo. Only after that it works. Took me a lot of time to realize that. And was little bit stressful.

Airalo eSIM in Japan for 2 months

Purchasing and installing the eSIM was a breeze, although the activation was somewhat confusing; not something you need when arriving in a foreign country after a long- haul flight. That said, it worked seamlessly once activated and topping up was a breeze. Thanks Airalo.

Data usage

In Athens the data was going so fast I thought it might be a mistake A part from that it is a good service I also wish that you would send me an alert that I had to activate my line before going to turkey

Hi! Turn on data alerts in the Airalo app: go to Profile, then Notification Preferences, and you will get notifications at 25% and 10% remaining (plus an email). Those alerts are for keeping an eye on your usage, and that can help you time activation before you head to Turkey. The Athens data may feel very quick, and thank you for sharing it!

I paid for 5G when going to Australia but only got 4G

I paid for 5G when going to Australia, I stayed in Brisbane central and throughout my trip I've only ever had 4G. Not the biggest deal breaker but just unfortunately not as advertised.

In general fine

In general - all is good. But auto-config of an esim could be better. Example: I bought one for Israel and I had to enter the APN manually. The instructions didn't mention this and it took me a while to figure that out and get it working .
