Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the very simple setup process and mention that the mobile application is exceptionally easy to navigate when traveling around the world. Many people also note that the internet connection remains remarkably reliable and fast across multiple international destinations.
Some reviewers were not happy with occasional connection drops, unexpected service failures, and general difficulties when trying to activate their digital cards. Consumers additionally pointed out that the online customer support chats could sometimes feel entirely unhelpful, slow, or unable to properly resolve complex technical issues.
I bought esim here in Spain. It is not yet installed until now.

Easy setup but then you get charged more for tops ups than a new eSIM. So to get the best deal you need to run multiple esims, which is not efficient for anyone.
Stop asking me for reviews. Look to make you speed faster I was only getting 28mbs vs my wife who got 500+ mbs using the roaming package through our home provider. I will looks to do the same next time if speeds are not as fast.
I always have issues activating Airalo in Dubai\. The eSIM doesn’t activate, and I end up losing my money without being able to use the service\. Why does this keep happening?
The connection is very weak and the call didn’t work in Pakistan

Amsterdam I had no problem, but Norway your service really sucks almost no connection in Hagdasung(?), Odda (Terrible), Nordfjord (no existent), Alesund (No existent) even with Roaming data being going very fast in Hagdasung without using that much. If going in this area I DON'T Recommend to buy, as a matter of fact I want my money back.
Unfortunately, my experience with Airalo in the UK was extremely disappointing. My phone consistently showed good 4G/5G signal, yet mobile data simply did not work when I actually needed it.
I ended up constantly searching for Wi-Fi and was left without a usable internet connection on several occasions, which is exactly the situation an eSIM is supposed to prevent when travelling.
I’ve used Airalo in other countries without problems, so I know this is not what the service should be like. My phone is a current-generation device and had no difficulty connecting to the network — there was simply no functional data connection.
A rather expensive way to discover where all the nearest cafés with free Wi-Fi are.
I certainly wouldn’t use Airalo in the UK again
I bought unlimited internet, they have some limit, lake a few gb per day, which they dont state anywhere. It should be named, 3gb per day. Also speed is terrible, I compared it when I use my actual SIM card, I get a few times faster connection.
This is my second esim in Greece and again it is not working properly. The first was on an island and I thought it was the reception on the island. Now I am at Athens and it is still problematic. I am connecting to a provider not from Greece and I need to use data roaming to connect. So the connection sucks…
I have been unable to send a text back home with this service, nor receive one. Data works well but that's it. Have not yet tried to place a call so not sure about that part.
Im in Turkey purchase unlimited package, connection is very limited, i see 5G but there is no internet, coverage is just 2 columns while my voice linehas full coverage. Its terrible experience for now. I noticed degradation of your service for my past few trips and thinking to switching to other esim provider platforms
I'm not a manager between a chatbot and several support agents
I had been using Airalo for several years, so this is not a review from someone who had never used an eSIM before or simply could not figure out how to install one.
Over the years, I had experienced some technical difficulties with Airalo from time to time, but they were always resolved, and I continued using the service. I therefore consider myself an experienced user and am familiar with how eSIMs work and how to follow the necessary installation and troubleshooting steps.
This time, however, my Poland eSIM simply did not work. I cannot say with certainty what caused the problem — perhaps there was a technical issue on the service side, perhaps something else — but I followed the troubleshooting instructions, sent screenshots, checked the settings and made it clear that I had no mobile internet.
At that point, I asked for a refund.
And this is where my experience became extremely frustrating.
First, I went through a long troubleshooting process with the chatbot. I followed the suggested steps and explained several times that nothing worked and that I needed a refund.
I was then transferred to a human agent. Despite the fact that the conversation had supposedly been passed on, I was asked for information and screenshots that I had already provided. I explained that I had already gone through all those steps with the chatbot and that I was tired of repeating them.
When I contacted support again on September 8 because I still had not received the refund, I was transferred to another agent. And once again, I was asked for the same information.
At one point, the agent even started discussing a different eSIM — my Europe eSIM, which had already expired — although I had clearly explained that it was the Poland eSIM that had never worked.
I had to ask them several times to please read the previous conversations with the chatbot and the other agent and look at the screenshots I had already sent. I was essentially repeating the same explanation again and again.
In total, I had to ask for a refund around five times.
That is what disappointed me most.
I understand that technical problems happen. I also understand that refunds can take time to reach a bank account. In fact, my refund for the Poland eSIM was eventually approved on September 8, and I was told that it could take 5–14 business days to appear on my statement. So I am still waiting for the money and am willing to give it a few more days.
But the refund itself is not the main reason for this review.
The real problem was the support process.
I was an existing customer who had used the service for years. I had already done the troubleshooting, provided screenshots and clearly explained what had happened. Yet every new stage of the support process seemed to require me to start from the beginning.
My advice to Airalo is very simple: please read the previous conversation before asking the customer the same questions again. This is especially important when the customer is already in a difficult situation and is asking for a refund because the service they paid for did not work.
A customer should not have to act as a case manager between a chatbot and several support agents.
After this experience, I will be looking for another company to provide my eSIM service.
I had a problem with the phone app failing to recognise an authentication code so I could install a new eSIM. Your AI bot, and even your live human agent, failed to understand my enquiry, and just gave me instructions for steps I had already taken, the very steps I described in my enquiry. In the end, I solved the problem myself, by deleting the app from my phone entirely and just working from my website profile. I’m giving you 3 stars because you at least answered my call for help promptly.
