Hi Jane, Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! We know how important it is to feel confident when choosing a retreat, which is why we prioritize authentic reviews and detailed information. We're so glad you found exactly what you were looking for at a great value. Enjoy your journey! 🙏✨ Many Blessings, Amanda The Bookretreats.com Team

Hi Joseph, Thank you for sharing your perspective. Deep transformational work and sacred medicine ceremonies can be incredibly intense, and we understand they are not the right fit for everyone. At the same time, we take the safety of our guests very seriously, and we want to reassure future travelers that this host maintains a structured environment and follows established safety protocols. The host has confirmed that when you chose to leave early, you sat down together with her assistant and agreed on the departure terms. While the booking agreement you signed states the retreat payment is non-refundable, the host wanted to support you and made an exception to refund your deposit, which we processed immediately. We'd also like to clarify what happened regarding the review: Our system automatically sends a review invitation three days after a retreat has ended. However, because your booking was canceled after your early departure, that automated follow-up was also canceled. The review that you were able to leave since then is currently in our system for processing. We truly wish you all the best on your continued wellness journey. Much love, Laura The Bookretreats.com Team

Hi Karen, That is music to our ears. We know how important it is to have all the details upfront when planning a retreat, so we're thrilled it was a smooth experience for you. Have an amazing time! 🧘‍♂️✨ Many Blessings, Amanda The Bookretreats.com

Hi Gavin, Thank you so much for the feedback. We work hard to curate a diverse selection of properties and keep our pricing completely transparent, so it’s wonderful to hear that this made a difference for you. Happy travels!😊 Many Blessings, Amanda The Bookretreats.com Team

Hi Jane, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We apologize for the missed email - we dropped the ball on that one but I'm glad we could continue to discuss your situation with you afterwards. As discussed, we do carefully review every retreat and vet our hosts before their offerings are featured on BookRetreats. We have confirmed that everything offered on the listing was made available on the retreat, but each one is independently run by the host and sometimes a retreat simply isn't the right fit for what a guest is looking for. If an issue does arise, we always encourage guests to speak with their host directly during the retreat. Hosts are usually eager to adjust things to make you comfortable whenever possible. We're sorry that you were left disappointed by your experience. We have shared all of your feedback with the host to take onboard. And we'd really love the opportunity to both earn back your trust and help you find a retreat that's a much better fit in the future. Just let us know and we'd be happy to help. Many Blessings, Amanda The Bookretreats.com Team
