Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers find the platform quite useful for creating images and videos, appreciating the high quality results when it works properly. People enjoy exploring its diverse features and note that the tool offers fun and creative ways to generate digital content.
Some reviewers were not happy with the strict credit system and unexpected subscription costs. Customers mentioned that frequent mistakes made by the software consume expensive credits without offering refunds or easy corrections. Users also noted that getting desired results often requires precise prompts and sometimes leads to unexpected errors during generation.
The company advertises Deevid Lite can smoothly animate between a start frame and a final frame. This is false. Not only cannot it produce a smooth animation between two frames, it introduces ugly artifacts into each frame that are not in the source photos. I was charged an annual subscription of $120 and realized within 5 minutes Deevid Lite does not work as advertised. The seller will not give you a refund and fights tooth and nail to make sure you don't get one. Beware of fine print in the privacy notice, also be aware there is a recurring subscription fee next year if you fail to cancel. Very devious company, avoid and beware. I cannot emphasize enough what an abysmal experience this has been.
so far I am having a great time making Vidos the ai makes mistakes sometimes but you can redo them yourself in video programs and sound in programs just wish they make them longer for like 10 min or movie long
Generally is good, in some cases make stupid mistakes, which I have to correct by prompt, but each generation cost coins. If you construct prompt with other LLM, then everything fine. I'm happy, but needed time to understand in which cases the model make mistakes.
As a seasoned marketing content creator, DeeVid AI delivered the best Image to Video results compared to many other AI tools on the market. The results of my prompts were spot-on, produced quickly, and paired with appropriate audio. I would recommend this tool and will continue to use it routinely in marketing advertisements.
The service did not meet my expectations and did not deliver what was advertised. I am requesting a full refund . Please process my refund as soon as possible.
DeeVid AI is easy to use and has many interesting tools for creating AI videos. The interface is convenient and the generation process is simple. However, I would like to see more consistent results when using reference images, especially when it is important to preserve the original details. It would also be great if users could correct an unsuccessful generation without spending the full amount of credits again. Overall, the platform has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing how it improves.
Positive, with a few minor limitations, but very good.
Well-made, and videos are generated quickly. Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to use certain descriptions because they "refer to public figures"—though I’ll leave it to others to decide whether that makes sense for cartoon characters.
I tried DeeVid AI for a very basic use case: turning still images into short 4–5 second videos. The experience has been extremely disappointing.
The biggest problem is the combination of unreliable output quality and an absurdly expensive token system. My plan gives me only 128 tokens per month, while a single generation costs 20 tokens. That means you get roughly six attempts for an entire month. For a generative AI tool where trial and error is unavoidable, that is terrible value.
What makes it worse is that many of those expensive generations were completely unusable. DeeVid repeatedly destroyed text that already existed in the source image. Simple Vietnamese text such as “3 BUỔI/TUẦN – NHANH HƠN NHƯNG NẶNG HƠN” was turned into meaningless, misspelled gibberish. It did the same thing to text on books, boards, posters, mugs, and other background objects.
Even when the prompt specifically says to preserve the original image, the system may still alter faces, hands, eyes, background details, or typography. The results are simply not reliable enough for marketing or professional content.
The most frustrating part is that you still lose the full 20 tokens when the AI produces a broken result. There should at least be a refund system for obviously failed generations, a cheap preview mode, or low-resolution test renders before charging the full amount.
I started with 128 tokens and dropped to 68 after only a few attempts, without getting a single video I could actually use.
For me, DeeVid currently feels less like paying for usable AI video generation and more like paying 20 tokens every time you discover another way the model can fail.
128 tokens/month + 20 tokens per generation + highly inconsistent results is simply unacceptable.
I would not recommend DeeVid AI for anyone who needs consistent characters, preserved text, or reliable professional video output.
When it understands & works, the results can be phenomenal! Unfortunately, getting it to not change too much about the reference images requires a level of specificity that's exceedingly frustrating. It's far too easy to burn through your credits just fixing the system's mistakes (i.e. why does a human hand have 7 fingers?) & they will NOT refund you.
tl;dr
They'd have to either drastically reduce the price of credits or drastically reduce the number of mistakes to get me to purchase anymore credits than it took for me to learn this.
