FNS-105 Gas Stove
FNS-105 Gas Stove: no preheater, not the lightest, not the quickest and not the most expensive. A solid product for any backpacker. Packs small and boils 1/2 litre sub 3 minutes at 1500 meters elevation. I am very pleased.
This G3 petrel pot and Greenpeak stove
This G3 petrel pot and Greenpeak stove burner are small but MIGHTY. Perfect size for a day hike or a lightweight over nighter. This combo boils water quickly or lets you simmer for more of a low and slow approach cooking. This combo will not disappoint. Firemaples customer service is exceptional as is their products.

Awesome gear!
I do a lot of hiking and camping and have accumulated a lot of gear. In my quest to hike as ultralight but comfy as possible, I have several versions of each piece of equipment as I've upgraded or gone lighter. So I have lots to compare to. Fire Maple has some great gear. Their G3 stove pot has been my go-to for almost a year. Then they introduced their Petrel cup that nests inside the G3 pot and it practically disappears. Plus it's almost weightless while still having a thin neoprene sleeve to protect your fingers from hot liquids. Genius! Recently I got their brand new Petrel stove and it's awesome. Light as can be and packs flat. I have other products of theirs too, like the rice cooker. There was a time when Chinese products were questionable in quality. These days, companies like Fire Maple, NatureHike, CampingMoon, Night Cat, etc, are giving the big expensive brand names a run for their money. I go to these guys first for my gear! Customer service has been very responsive and kind as well.

I have a Petrel pour over kettle and love it. It’s light and packable and heats water on a camp stove faster than any kettle I’ve ever owned. 100% recommend for a packable, single person, kettle

Amazing build quality - and great customer service.
My greenpeak pro stove is legit. The construction is very sturdy but not bulky. One note: the threading is very fine and can cross threaded if you’re careless (like I was at first). However, that translates to a very secure connection. Thread it all the way down and it’s way more secure that other stoves. The flame adjuster is easy to use and it’s very powerful. Extra kudos to customer service who very patiently walked me through my own user error when I cross threaded it and it didn’t ignite. Great experience. Very helpful.
Cheap Products
Cheap Products, Poor Quality, and Expensive Returns I purchased the Petrel 350ml Pour-Over Kettle and the Hornet II Titanium Gas Stove, and unfortunately, both products were disappointing. The items arrived later than expected and the quality was much lower than anticipated. The materials feel cheap, thin, and poorly made. The kettle also had a strong chemical smell that raised concerns about using it for boiling water and food preparation. Buyers should be aware that if you are not satisfied with the quality and want to return these products, you may be required to pay the return shipping cost back to China at your own expense. I recommend carefully considering other options from more reputable brands that offer better quality control, faster shipping, and more customer-friendly return policies.
I love Fire Maple!
I love Fire Maple!! All their products (and I own many now) have been excellent. Their quality and design is first class and it is obvious that they put a lot of thought into their design and production. Every single item I own is used on every trip and nothing has disappointed yet. In fact, the stove (Saturn X), the windscreen, and my kettle get a lot of compliments and questions regarding who makes them. I have not been disappointed at all, in fact, I have been very impressed with the quality and attention to detail they give to their products. I definitely recommend Fire Maple!!
Finally got to use our fire maple stove…
Finally got to use our fire maple stove on a backpacking trip with my daughter. First night we used it with the adapter and a pot and made Mac and cheese. It was super windy and we had no problem cooking. Next morning boiled water for coffee and camp breakfast. Could not have been happier. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid lightweight cooking system.

Tulip Gas Lantern 🫶
I recently purchased the Tulip Gas Lantern and had the opportunity this weekend to take it on its first trip….and it was amazing, the look of it, the simplicity of using it and the stunning candle like glow that it gives was absolutely spectacular.

Absolutely awesome camping stove! I’ve used it on multiple backpacking and hunting trips without any issues. Super lightweight and durable too. I also have the French press adapter and it’s now my favorite way to make coffee.
Prompt service
I ordered a replacement for the globe for my gas lantern. It arrived on time and intact. Don't know if the globe could be made of less breakable glass, but I'll try to be more careful with this one.
