While we understand the comparison to premium credit cards, FoundersCard is designed to complement—not replace—programs like American Express Platinum. Many Members have both, as FoundersCard provides access to benefits, upgrades, and experiences that are separate from those programs. We also want to acknowledge your experience with the Southwest benefit. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience for Members, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to better understand what you encountered. FoundersCard discounts are generally applied to standard fares and may not be combinable with existing airline sale fares or promotional pricing.
