Hi S., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're very sorry to hear this aspect of our policy felt exclusionary, and we completely understand why that's frustrating. The age threshold for our egg freezing plan's minimum egg guarantee add-on exists because we need to pool risk across our members in a way that keeps the policy financially sustainable for all. Unfortunately that does mean some patients will sit outside of the cut-off, which we genuinely regret. Age is an important factor in fertility outcomes and has been consistently recommended by our network of partner clinics and board of medical advisors. This is not a decision we took lightly, and it is not our intention to make anyone feel excluded. This is our only eligibility criteria across all of our plans, as we strive for as much inclusivity as possible. It also does not apply to our standard egg freezing plan, which comes with cancelation protection. We are continuously working to improve access to protected care for all patients, and feedback like yours plays an important part in shaping how we evolve our policies over time. We're very sorry the policy didn't work for you in this instance, and we appreciate you raising how this made you feel. All the best, The Gaia Team
