Great products, mixed customer service
--- Update --- HoK have now got back to me with an acceptable resolution and explanation as to what has gone wrong. They have assured me that this was a very unusual case, so don't be deterred. I have updated my review score accordingly. --- Original review --- The product is lovely and great quality. However, the aftercare has been diabolical. I received a customs charge from FedEx shortly after receiving the canvases I had ordered because House Of Koyomi incorrectly filled in their customs forms. On the HoK website it states there will be "no customs duties or surprise fees" for UK customers (where I am based). This is a lie! It has been nearly a month and several hours of my personal time trying to get a resolution to this issue with both Koyomi and FedEx and there is currently no end in sight. Response times from Koyomi have been poor and I have had to repeatedly chase them for updates after periods of silence lasting a week at a time. At this rate I will need to pay the nearly GBP30 out of my own pocket or I will be subject to debt collection proceedings from FedEx. Entirely unacceptable for what amounts to an administrative error. Think carefully before using this company, you have been warned.

Very nice art overall. Ordered "true nature", size was L. Not disappointed with the sharpness at all. Quality of the material seems very good (canvas). Shipping took a bit, but not too long at all (about 1 or 2 weeks). It's all made per order, so it makes sense it takes a bit of time. Price is acceptable, although I didn't order the art work with a frame. This makes it obviously more expensive.

Hi Matt, thank you for taking the time to write this, and we‘re sorry. You placed an order, paid for it, and then heard nothing for two weeks. That’s a frustrating experience and it’s not what we want for anyone who trusts us with their walls. Here’s what happened: your order was held up by a production file error at our print partner, and on top of that your two emails were missed on our side. Both are our fault, not yours. The messages landed in spam and we adjusted our processes to check the spam folder daily now. We will reach out to you directly with a clear fix. We’re pushing your order through asap and I’ve included something to make up for the wait. If anything about that isn’t right, reply to the email and our founder team will handle it personally.
