Proper fit is key, and sometimes it’s not just about tightness but also the strap placement based on your dog’s individual shape. One minor adjustment can make a significant difference, so we suggest testing a few settings in a safe area to find what works best for your escape artist. While we cannot guarantee the harness is completely “Houdini-proof” (some pups are just too clever!), it should be very secure when properly adjusted. For added peace of mind, you might also consider using a "safety strap" or "safety cord" that attaches to a collar and leash as a backup precaution for those extra wriggly pups.
