I received a pair of shoes that are made of poor quality materials and smell awful. I tried to process a refund request and after a number of email exchanges, I received a very arrogant reply to offer the crap to somebody else. It was so disrespectful! I think even one star is too much for that shady company. Please do not buy anything from them, they are a total scam. R.Popov California
Same experience as another poster. The shoes were awful and I asked to return them. Essentially, they won't give me an address for a return (and certainly not a return mailing label). Stay away.
Orthoture is just the opposite of their slick, alluring website. Their victims (me in this case) are like unsuspecting flies who are lured into a spider’s web and then unable to extricate themselves. Only in my case I finally had to resort to my credit card company and, after telling them my sordid tale (I kept every bit of email correspondence) found in my favor and returned my money. After about two weeks of trying to follow Orthoture’s tracking site (their odd, unrecognizable tracking number) the shoes arrived from China to a US post office with the advisement that the package could not be delivered due to insufficient postage. One option advised me was to seek a refund. When I complained to Orthoture they finally sent me a United States Postal Service tracking number which also was of no use. Now, with a huge loss in confidence I asked for a refund. The reply was for me to go to the post office, pay for the additional postage, get my package and I would be reimbursed. Red flags were whipping around in the gale. The post office where the package was being held was in another state! Having no confidence of being reimbursed, I refused their “solution”, demanding a refund. The next email I received suggested my mailing address was incorrect and that was the reason for the non-shipment. But the information they provided showed my exactly correct address. Again I demanded a full refund. After a few more interchanges they offered me a 50% refund citing the costs they had incurred in this failed transaction. I replied, “absolutely not!” Their reply was something like that was the best they could do. My next email was to my credit card company which included all the correspondence. It took less time for their investigation to find in my favor then it did for the unproductive back and forth dialog with Orthoture! Simply put, this company is fraudulent! Caveat emptor! Do your homework before you consider buying from them or you can take my experience to heart and find a legitimate orthopedic shoe company.
I am so mad at myself for not FIRST checking for any reviews on this company! I have experienced everything all the reviewers have said. I'm now waiting to see what happens with the PayPal claim I have submitted. Hopefully, I'll get a full refund, but I'm wondering if the shipping charges will be included. There's no indication whatsoever that this is coming from CHINA! Had there been, I would NEVER have to ordered it in the first place. The sizing is ridiculous! I knew the minute I finally got them that they were way too small! Avoid this like the plague!!
The shoes run 1/2 size smaller than your size. Their customer service is non-responsive
This is a scam. We didn't realize this is drop-ship from China, can't tell from the professional looking website that all the review are fake. We order on Oct 16, 2024. Tracking shows Shenzhen, China, via HongKong, then Chicago IL. USPS has a physical address for at Normal, IL USA. As soon as we ordered we thought something was wrong because the tracking they provide is not trackable. When the shoes arrived it was not properly boxed, just in plastic bags. Shoes are very low quality. We initiated return immediately. They drag it out for 10 days of back and forth with 10% and 20% discounts. Now they give us a mailing address for China. At first was hopeful this is an honest company, but reading on here this is really a scam.
Worst shoes ever! The “suede” is actually Crock material and the size 12.5 I ordered are more narrow than my palm. Never shop drunk! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
This is a scam company that sells counterfeit shoes. The shoes are nothing like what’s advertised. I’ve been trying to contact them since I received the package. But to date have not had a reply. Do not purchase shoes from this seller.
I am so pissed that I fell for this scam! The shoes I ordered were so narrow and was advertised to be great for people with bunions. It took several weeks to arrive and before it was shipped I tried to cancel without any luck. It’s the same story as all the other reviews. Their satisfaction guarantee is bogus! You send them an email and it takes a few days for a response. So far the past 3 emails have been worthless as they tried to tell me that they sent the correct size that I ordered and that they would give me 10% off because “ I deserve these shoes”. I have requested their address to return them but I would have to incur most likely a $30 shipping fee and I suspect they will say that they never received it. I have a dispute pending with my credit card company and will hopefully recover some money.
I ordered the size I usually wear and bought two pairs of shoes, one of the walking and the other the black shoe. When I received them and tried them on they were too small by about a 1/2 size, as my toes were hitting the end in both. I reached out on how to return and get a refund and of course did not realize when I bought them they were made in China. So of course I did not get a full refund, but received 10% of my cost. Biggest rip off ever. Do not buy these and get duped like I did. They are not good quality, and orthotics by butt.
Stupidly, I thought because they accepted PayPal … they’d be a reputable company. I found out AFTER I purchased (to include expedited shipping) that they are NOT Italian hand made shoes per their advertising. I requested on the same day I ordered (Oct 13, 2024 and again on Oct 15, 2024) to cancel and refund my purchase. They only replied after I asked PayPal to help. They continued to ignore my request until they created a label on Oct 24, 2024 and shipped the purchase even though I requested numerous times not to ship. My order showed up on Nov 01, 2024 from CHINA and one of the pairs of shoes was not even what I ordered. I sent photos to their company but don’t expect them to respond. Do not buy from this company
Thank you for taking the time to review. I was just about to hit "confirm and pay" on possibly two pairs of shoes. I will do a little more research before doing so.
Horrible unethical company!!! The shoes have ZERO support and are very uncomfortable and trying to return them for a refund is next to impossible and will literally take you MONTHS with many emails and lots of your time and energy. They REFUSE to give you their address to return them! Clearly, they hope you will get worn out from the process they make you go through and then just forget about returning them for a refund. The owners of this company should be put in prison!!!
Horrible company do jot use them in my opinion they are a big scam they advertise returns for full refunds, but they refuse to give you an address to send them to and then when they finally do it’s in China cost more than the shoes are worth the shoes they sent were horrible cheap they didn’t fit. They weren’t the right size as advertised and then they refused to return. Do not do not do not buy anything from this company.

Orthoture aka HappyCultureQVP aka Scenery Trading, all out of Hong Kong with offices in Denver, absolute scam. I ordered shoes; shoddy, cheap, no support at all for the human foot. Outrageous crap. Also there was no way to contact the company except through a website email. The promise was a response in 48 hours. After 3 emails over 3 weeks, no response. After more than a month, was told the company would refund 20%. Have contacted my credit card company and PayPal with complaint. Also posted a scathing review on Amazon. Yep. They advertise there too.
I wish I would have looked at these reviews before I ordered two pair of shoes, but ordered in Sept like most of your dates here. I was offered 25% and did get an address to return (would have been $40). I disputed with my credit card, but it didn't fly so out $80. I think they are cute but like two sizes too small and agree with one of you - three different company names, no luck getting help and yes, scam. Maybe we should send these reviews to our cc companies to show how bad this company really is.
Shoes fit real well and I received both pairs in a timely fashion. Both pairs have plenty of padding. I didn't give a 5 because we just got them so not sure how they'll hold up.
Total scam! They advertise that the shoes are leather, with padded insoles etc. The material is vinyl and the insoles are Styrofoam. Not even bothering with trying to send them back because it will be a waste of time.
Absolute worst shoes and customer service. Will NOT honor their return policy, will NOT communicate, shoes are NOT the correct size (soles and uppers different sizes). I’m reporting these people AND their affiliate Scenery Trade Co,ltd on every complaint medium I can find.
