评价综述
AI 生成Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the application provides a clean and intuitive interface, making editing documents simple without requiring expensive monthly subscriptions. People appreciate having access to a reliable set of professional features entirely free of charge, which makes managing files much easier. However, some customers also noted that the software could be improved in certain areas. A few reviewers experienced performance issues, such as slow loading times, rough scrolling, or specific character rendering bugs that interrupted their workflow. Others felt unsatisfied with the overall format or requested additional tool functions.

Adobe Acrobat Pro was randomly opening…
Adobe Acrobat Pro was randomly opening and closing folder/document windows on my XPS 13 desktop when I invoked certain edit functions such as the redaction tool. It cost me 2 hours to apply all sorts of remedies that I could find online (disabling Adobe's protected mode, wiping Adobe's stuck license credentials; and repairing/reinstalling Acrobat) but to no avail. At one point I thought my windows 11 was broken and used the DISM & SFC tools for windows repair. I finally gave up the thought of resurrecting Acrobat and through online searches, I found the PDFgear freeware. All my woes went away in a flash! It is uplifting to see how a small software company can produce a product superior to that from a behemoth such as Adobe!

I needed to edit a PDF urgently for a new job and every app or site I came across, was subscription based. PDFgear worked great without asking for upgrades!
piece of garbage
Absolute piece of garbage software and a huge waste of time. I spent 2 hours trying to add simple text notes to a PDF document, only to find out that half of the text randomly vanishes. It turns out the app has a critical bug rendering Cyrillic characters (specifically Ukrainian letters like "ї" and "є") inside text boxes, causing entire sentences to just disappear. Instead of finishing my work, I now have to throw this app away and look for a normal, functioning PDF editor. Totally irresponsible development and zero quality control. Do not waste your time on this.

We're truly sorry about this. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when you were just trying to get your work done. The issue appears to be related to how certain Unicode characters are rendered when text is added to a PDF. I've passed this along to our developers for further investigation. We know this is something we need to improve to better support different languages. Thank you for taking the time to point this out.
Works well and is free
Works super well and personally I find it easier to use than Adobe Acrobat. Thank you so much for a free software.

This took overwhelm out of my weekly pdf tasks.
This took overwhelm out of my weekly pdf tasks! I provide the music for a worship team every week. Each player and singer has the preferences that help them to play and sing their best. All notations I make are invisible when the documents are printed unless they have been flattened first. The memory of the hoops I used to jump through to accomplish that is painful. I half-heartedly checked out PDFgear to help with this. My of my! The best find I've ever made and it is free. I've used it week after week for over a year and on and on it goes, spitting out those "-flatten" files in a split second of time! Thank you to whoever you are behind the scenes who have developed this tool and willingly continue to share it with us free of charge!
