Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the application provides a clean and intuitive interface, making editing documents simple without requiring expensive monthly subscriptions. People appreciate having access to a reliable set of professional features entirely free of charge, which makes managing files much easier.
However, some customers also noted that the software could be improved in certain areas. A few reviewers experienced performance issues, such as slow loading times, rough scrolling, or specific character rendering bugs that interrupted their workflow. Others felt unsatisfied with the overall format or requested additional tool functions.
the website indicated a free trial for the download. I tried it and it was something I did not like its format.
My bank statement has now been hit twice with no response request to cancel anything that they put in place. A REALLY GOOD BAIT AND SWITCH.....
Don't use it is my suggestion. For some it might work; not for me!

We’re sorry you’ve had to deal with this.
PDFgear is completely free. We have no paid plans, trials, or subscriptions, and no account is needed when using our apps. We don’t charge users, so those charges aren’t from us.
We’ve seen websites impersonating PDFgear, so could you check whether you downloaded the app from our official website, https://www.pdfgear.com/?
To help us figure out where the charges came from, please also share a screenshot of the charge on your bank statement showing the merchant’s name. Be sure to hide any personal or banking details. Thanks!
Excellent PDF reader and editor!
PDFgear is fast, lightweight, and very easy to use. I especially like that I can fill in PDFs, add text, sign documents with the mouse, and combine multiple PDF files without having to use complicated software. The interface is clean and intuitive, and it feels much lighter than Adobe Acrobat. I also like that you can quickly print in greyscale (black and white) without having to go to the printer properites. Highly recommended!
Excellent product, does everything I need, i.e. merge pdfs that the Adobe Acrobat Reader cannot do. You're not hammered with having to sign on, or upgrade as per the Adobe Acrobat product.
Having heard about this little App from a colleague I have been using it for a relatively short time but one thing is clear good goods come in small parcels This app does exactly what it says on the tin PDFs can be so difficult to edit sometimes but with PDFgear that day is gone. I'm very impressed with the mirid of tasks it can tackle so based on what I've seen I would have no hesitation in recommending it as the go to App when working on PDFs
Amazing! I didn't need to buy any subscription to do basic stuff unlike adobe acrobat that requires you to pay 31 dollars a month just to add text, and overall everything works perfectly. Definitely recommend this
I am not expert in programs or software, but this was extremely easy to use and was able to modify and edit any PDF document I have. I would highly recommend this program if you needed to work with a PDF file
I just downloaded but it seems like its very user-friendly and complete. I had Acrobat Pro for my business and then as a teacher but both stopped working. The subscription service is way too expensive for something I rarely use as a retiree. So thank you to PDFgear for providing this option. I watched a Utube to find the program and the tutorial was great!
This product is easy to use and works brilliantly. The You Tube tutorial is excellent and gives a clear and easy to follow guide around the various features available. It is a joy to use!
