it works great but not free. I paid $40 for a week to use this software so I could recover the pictures from my SD card.

I lost files on an SD card from a photo shoot. I did a battery swap before my Canon R6 II was done indexing the photos and video. I was able to recover the files, all of them, even files that were previously on the card from an older camera. Amazing! Data recovery services charge thousands of dollars for this service. Had a corrupted micro SD card that said, "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable." An error that I have never seen before. I was able to successfully scan the drive and pull all files onto my laptop, and avoided losing everything. Only took about an hour and a half to save 30 Gigs worth of data! The software is well worth the purchase!
