Very disappointing experience. I accidentally made a purchase and contacted RedSwitches almost immediately to cancel and request a refund. I never used the service. Despite contacting them through support ticket, live chat, email, and phone, they refused a full refund and eventually told me to pursue the matter through PayPal. I expected much better handling of an immediate cancellation request. This is the timeline of what happened

Oct 6 – 3:27 AM* Live chat cancellation and full refund request submitted. Unexpected PayPal charge reported.
Oct 7 – 3:17 AM RedSwitches Billing responded with checkout records and offered a partial refund of $3,031.65, retaining $1,515.83 for the first month.
Oct 8 – 7:56 AM RedSwitches reiterated the partial-refund offer or PayPal dispute review and stated that the support ticket was being closed.
Oct 8 – 8:10 AM Written clarification submitted explaining the unexpected purchase. Immediate termination of both servers, associated services, and billing authorization requested.

Hi Tuan, we’re sorry you feel this way, but we’d like to set the record straight.
We provide digital infrastructure services, not physical goods.
Unlike an online store, where you can return a product, a bare-metal server is physically set up for you and delivered as soon as you pay.
Once it’s delivered and used, it can’t be “returned”.
It’s the same as any internet or telecom provider: you can’t activate a service, use it, and then ask for a refund because the purchase was accidental.
This is standard across our industry.
Your order was for two bare-metal servers servers on a 3-month billing cycle.
The payment was completed, and both servers were provisioned and delivered, including Windows Server licensing, before you first contacted us.
Our logs show the servers were accessed and used after delivery.
Our Terms of Service do not offer refunds for a change of mind. Unfortunately, we regularly see services purchased, used, and then disputed, which is why we have strict policies in place.
Over the course of our conversation, you also gave several different reasons for the request, so we don’t believe this is a genuine case.
Under our Terms of Service, delivered services are not eligible for a refund. Even so, we chose to go beyond our own policy as a gesture of goodwill: we offered you a partial refund, deducting only the cost we had already incurred to provision and deliver your servers, including the Windows licensing. That offer still stands.

Even though the problem was not on RedSwitches’ side, their support team went above and beyond to help me and came up with a very good solution.

I just became a client here after problems with my old hosting company. Claude AI recommended me redswitches and honestly we just did the installation of the server, the migration of my website and all went perfectly, I received amazing support (I am not technical at all) and they were very friendly and helpfull. So i definatly recommend them and I will be transfering all my websites to them in the weeks to come!
I haven't had a bad experience with RedSwitches. We use the dedicated servers for our project, and they have been working great. A couple of issues that we did have were promptly resolved by realtime support, and what we thought to be a technical problem on their part turned out to be our fault, and they walked us through on how to fix it. Also they have a ton of different payment options, which is convenient for us.
Bad service from RedSwitches. They say they are from Singapore from they are mostly from India with very bad quality of service. I bought a server and asked for a firewall but they refused to set it up because they are reselling from other companies and promising 10 minute setup without actually helping us do it.
Ordered the 99$ Dual Silver Deal from LET.
Network quality is impressive and HW is decent. Would have loved the option to upgrade it to NVME. Will test for a month and if quality remains consistent, will move some more servers to RedSwitches.

RedSwitches are scammers. They took my server down for leaving review on TrustPilot and they did not allow me to take backup for my files before terminating the server.
Fake promises and No Firewall
I purchased a dedicated server thinking it will be deployed in 10 minutes as it says on their whole website. Little did I know, it takes 24 hours to get it deployed. And they do not own the infrastucture, they resell velia.net servers. I asked for a firewall and they said they do not have any firewalls for any servers. And the BMC, aka BIOS is publically accessible by anyone. Very insecure and bad service by RedSwitches.
Worked for my data heavy workloads, fast bandwidth, unmetered
Happy, If you pay for it specifically, they do offer high bandwidth, unmetered connection, IT WORKS, and they don't have problem with you ACTUALLY using it, from my experience and talk with support.
Paris deployment was FAST, currently works great for my heavy data workload, I need to pull many terabytes from a solana repo.. over hundred terabytes, convert it to parquet(smaller format) which i then stream to my own servers. It's currently running well, I needed this to save months that it would take be to pull that data on my own. And this worked, great powerful hardware, reliable, fast deployment in my experience. Just great service. Support confirmed that I could use my bandwidth to 100% 24/7. So i don't know if there's cases where some cloud providers have some policy with fair use, idk if they have something here, but support confirmed to me that it's all good, and it's working fine for me so far. happy

Been with RedSwitches for a while now for our VPN operations. Network has been rock solid.
They've got Tier 1 carriers like Arelion, GTT, and TATA and the peering is well set up through their L2 carriers. Zero complaints on performance.
The thing I appreciate most is how accessible their support is.
We just ping them on Telegram and they sort things out quickly.
Had a couple of routing issues in the past and they rerouted traffic for us on the spot without any fuss.
Prices are really competitive. One of the best in the market for what they delivery.

I have worked with OVH and Contabo in the past, but RedSwitches hit a better balance of price vs. support. Not the cheapest, but I get better performance and faster help. Worth it it you care about reliability.
