This is a scam
This is a scam. Please beware before making any purchases. They will steal your money. SCAM ALERT!! Very disappointing experience. I accidentally made a purchase and contacted RedSwitches almost immediately to cancel and request a refund. I never used the service. Despite contacting them through support ticket, live chat, email, and phone, they refused a full refund and eventually told me to pursue the matter through PayPal. I expected much better handling of an immediate cancellation request. This is the timeline of what happened October 5–9, 2026 | All times Eastern Time where confirmed Date & Time Event / Action Oct 5 - 6:50 PM Accidentally misleading by the shopping cart screen submitted the purchase. Oct 5 – 7:10 PM Support ticket #18376 / Invoice #70178 displays this timestamp. Cancellation and refund request documented in the ticket; exact submission time not confirmed. Oct 5 – 8:16 PM Server configuration initiated on RedSwitches website, according to RedSwitches' records. Oct 5 – 8:24 PM Order submitted for two dedicated servers. Invoice #70178 generated for $4,547.48. Oct 5 – 8:25 PM PayPal payment of $4,547.48 processed. Payment confirmation email issued. Oct 5 – 8:28 PM Additional server configuration activity recorded by RedSwitches. Oct 5 – 9:15 PM Both servers provisioned and delivered, according to RedSwitches. Oct 6 – 3:27 AM* Live chat cancellation and full refund request submitted. Unexpected PayPal charge reported. Oct 7 – 3:17 AM RedSwitches Billing responded with checkout records and offered a partial refund of $3,031.65, retaining $1,515.83 for the first month. Oct 8 – 7:56 AM RedSwitches reiterated the partial-refund offer or PayPal dispute review and stated that the support ticket was being closed. Oct 8 – 8:10 AM Written clarification submitted explaining the unexpected purchase. Immediate termination of both servers, associated services, and billing authorization requested.
