I could have bought the same from Target or KMart for $20! Their George street shop is a fake. I have emailed them, they were polite but told me my goods would cost $ 90 to return . Offered me 15% refund and $50 store refund . Their merchandise is real rubbish . A SCAM SITE BEWARE !!!

This is not a minor variation — it is completely misrepresented. I could have bought an identical polyester garment elsewhere for around $16. Under Australian Consumer Law, products must match their description. This clearly does not. PayPal should not be facilitating transactions for sellers who advertise one product and deliver something entirely different.
Like all the other Rowe & Mercer reviews, do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE this company. Rowe & Mercer is a scam company, operating out of China and providing low quality products bearing little resemblance to the ones advertised on their site. The misrepresent themselves as Australian based and the customer service is appalling - complicated returns process with multiple promises of a full refund but nothing forthcoming. If I could rate zero I would, this site is a complete scam, the products you receive are not what you pay for and it is blatant fraudulent advertising. I ordered advertised Men's pure cashmere sweater x 2 for $69.95 each and received cheap chinese made 95% polyester 5% nylon that had threads hanging out that I could have purchased from Temu for $10 each. When I lodged a complaint they offered to pay me 25% refund and a full refund if I returned the goods to an address in China which the freight would be on par with the price of the goods and I do not trust they would actually pay me the refund. They also have to be returned within 30days and it took 3 weeks to receive the goods. They also provide details of a shopfront in Sydney which does not exist.

I wish I had seen this site before I bought two supposedly cashmere sweatshirts. Very poor quality about 1% cashmere if at all and colours nothing like on the advertisement. I too was fooled into thinking this wasn't a Chinese company. Never again

Please do not buy from this Website - Scam I Order Leather Jacket reduced from $499.00 to $99.00 My size is Large but Ordered size XL to make sure can fit me and also ordered Black leather Shoes size 9 reduced from $299.00 to $89.00 I thought was bargain. The leather on my new Rowe Mercer boots is buttery soft yet feels very durable. You can tell these weren't made on a mass assembly line. The only reason for 4 stars is that the laces felt a bit thin compared to the heavy-duty quality of the boot itself, so I swapped them out. Other than that, the craftsmanship is undeniable.
