MMI event, July 2023. A great event, Very upbeat, all very positive and some great experiences and people attending. The event is setup to sell quite expensive courses, which is fine, but the upsell is pretty heavy and in some cases those not buying were put down as they didn't have the foresight that those buying did - which is the reason for not giving 5 stars as in one case the heavy upsell went on for over 1 hour!
Excellent for mindset.
Very long weekend and intense.
Be prepared to be sold to (upswell programs) but through the midst of that it was still a great weekend. I met some wonderful people and learnt some new things.
Some of the exercises were excellent and enable a mindset change to money in certain aspects.
I would recommend this free weekend event.
It was a bit unclear for me if we talk about money as equity or we can extend to knowledge. There are a lot of entrepreneurs as examples who started just with their own knowledge and even if they’re millionaires they still offer their knowledge as capital.
I hope in the future years you can reframe it to a more actual types of capital/income/revenue.
Still waiting on the 2020 national achievers conference to be rescheduled and run with Tony Robbins. Success resources are either refusing a refund i am entitled too as stated in their original terns and conditions if the event isn't held in 3 years, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund. have been refused a refund multiple times or completley ignored. They also sneakily changed their terms and conditions to state 5 years instead of 3. (I still have the original terms and conditions) I will never buy from them again. As they clearly have no intent of refunding anyone for shows not delivered years on, unless legal action is brought against them.
The customer service is extremely poor. The event itself was great, but the company provided an awful service. Delay in sending invoices, delay in sending the actual ticket. Lies on lies on lies when calling and asking the reasons of the delays. Tony Robbins himself said that he received complaints about Success Resources. Customer Service is terrible.
Let 2000 people to sign up for a 300-person event, and didn't tell anyone!
Went to their "Power of Momentum" training after Tony Robbins' Birmingham event. Many people had to reschedule flights & take an extra day off to attend this because it wasn't announced together with Robbins's event. Then, on the morning of the event, everyone gets an email saying that 2000 people signed up for 300 spots so "arrive early" - I guess 1700 people signed up overnight so they couldn't have predicted this! A huge pile of people were sent off to attend a poorly-implemented zoom call (where the camera didn't show the slides). To top it all off, the hosts of the zoom meeting ignored many questions in the chat.
Do not EVER buy tickets from this organisation. They will take your money but when the event is coming up they ignore you and not send you the ticket. And when you ask for help they keep ignorering you!!! So do not ever do business with this organisation!!!
I entered a competition with hardly any entrants, which pretty much guaranteed the win for either myself, a friend (who also entered), or both, but was unable to obtain the winners list after multiple attempts.
We followed the T&C's in the competition and feel a little sickened that such a prestigious event has left such a sour taste in our mouth. Even if we didn't win, actually getting an answer has been so time consuming.
The competition was associated with the Tony Robbins UPW event and, as per the terms and conditions, we are entitled to get this winners list at minimum. So far, 5-6 weeks later, nothing!!
The frustrating thing was that it actually took a bit of travel to partake in the competition (long travel to a advertising board and snap a picture) before tagging it on across social media. I presume this is why not many people entered but... a few did. To be specific, 3 did, and there was 5 tickets up for grabs.
We've tried to be patient for this one but the way it's been handled has been very unprofessional. We've played by every rule and have just been ignored.
1) Do not give or prepare itinerary events.
2) Rest time 15 minute to short, only can go to toilet.
3) Lunch hour 1 hour only, so don't have enough time find a place to eat.
4) If need to short rest time must prepare snacks, coffee, tea, biskut, sandwich.
I attended MMI from 14th to 16th July in Penang. As a basic financial management and wealth growth seminar, there was quite good information for people have low financial literacy or poor money management skills. However, the hours were quite long and tiring, breaks were not sufficiently long, and content was heavily interspersed with program upsells. I understand that the company needs to make money from people who sign up for their programs, but a one-hour upsell for each program they have is quite mentally and physically taxing.
It was informative and funny and very nicely put together but I think the breaks could have been longer because the toilets were very full and there wasn't enough time to actually get a break.
