Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that your experience with Trace was smooth from start to finish. Our case administrators (in-house professional genealogists) take great care in learning about each client’s goals and coordinating with members of our research team who specialize in the relevant regions, so we’re especially glad our Canadian genealogy specialist was able to help move your research forward. It’s wonderful to know the report was clear, detailed, and included helpful next steps for continuing your search. One of the most rewarding parts of our work is helping clients turn those frustrating “dead ends” into new paths of discovery. Thank you again for trusting Trace with your family history and for recommending us to others. We wish you the very best as you continue exploring your ancestors’ stories!

Ronelle, thank you for your review and for sharing that you found the DNA Academy course helpful and engaging — we’re truly glad it resonated with you. We’re very sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding responsiveness. We want to clarify that course certificates are typically issued on the Monday following a course’s completion and can take up to a week to prepare. In your case, we received your email on a Friday afternoon, just one day after you completed the course. Understanding that you needed your certificate urgently, a team member came in on Saturday to prepare and send it to you — just two days after completion. We always strive to support our learners in a timely and thoughtful way, and we regret that this experience gave a different impression. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll continue to improve how we communicate these timelines up front to avoid future misunderstandings. Thank you again for your thoughtful comments, and we wish you the best in your continued genealogy education journey.
