Trying for a week setting my camera with Vstarcam software, "mission impossible " constantly asking for camera password, when I give it to them, answer is wrong password. I am sick of this company, throwing my camera in the garbage. Don't bother to buy this cameras.
Vstarcam is pushing the cloud server now can no longer record alarms from some cams to hard disk also can not set the setting for pzt in cam finder The newer cams more so than the old ones
crap product unexesting service Bought two and they both work for some days then they go offline, have to delete and add them again and so on GRAP
I paid to renew cloud storage for one year. Service is activated immediately on payment it says but mine wasn't. Impossible to contact anyone by email and paying with Google play they aren't interested in refunding my payment or helping. Customer service non existent. Stu Timms
Placed my order 3 weeks back and it still shows sitting in the senders ware house, I purchase many items from China via different sellers so know how shipping works from there and this simply means it has not even left the warehouse. Sent them 2 emails ( Tracked ) both have been opened and read but no response. Looks like I am going to have to get my bank to snatch my payment back as there shipping states 3 days dispatch and upto 15 days postage, I am well past this time with tracking showing not even sent from there warehouse. I already have cameras of this brand but purchased from elsewhere, the cameras are good value and work good but this seller is useless.
Support does not exist. They do not reply on questions about use of their products.After several mails (no telephone support) NULL Stay away!!!
Had one of their cameras for 5 years now, and it works fine, it has some bugs, like if the electricity goes out the camera position is reseted to the default position, like once a month the camera restarts itself and goes to default position (a friend that has a newer model told me that this is fixed on newer ones) but aside this, it works fine, records to SD card without problems, and the app is fast, work in old Android devices, and almost always conect, also with pour 3G signal, the only downside I see from this company is that if they shutdown their servers someday, the camera will became a piece of garbage, because it do not work without internet connection, there is not way to configure it without the mobile app.

I bought two of the c34s X4, through the website. Communication doesn't exist, I had to go through PayPal for a tracking number find a site to track it 17track.net which didn't show anything until it arrived in Australia. It was well packaged. Thought I would be scammed, received into Australia after 3 weeks. Camera and AI work surprisingly well for the price, you won't get AI without a subscription service anywhere near the 70$ I paid for the cameras. The optical zoom doesn't seem to operate on both camers it functions on startup, it's not a particular function I need, it's a problem with the app I think as the digital zoom works ok. Maybe they'll update it in the future. If they improved their communication it would be 5 stars, just pay through PayPal for safety.
I ordered some C17S of the new version. but they have opted out of it and to send me their outdated version and will not stand by their mistakes / deceiver. As a customer who will not accept to receive their obsolete item must even be paid for return shipping if you want an opportunity to get their money back. Add for a service or nicely said lack of the same. Never buy anything from them if you do not want to be cheated as you can not rely on getting what you paid for ....
Bought a battery powered smart video door phone, fully charged overnight, battery lasted about two hours then next day before I started getting recharge battery notifications. Told by Vstarcam that I would receive a replacement, never sent, asked for refund never acknowledge. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, they are cheating their customers.
The video quality is average as expected for a cheap camera. Housing dos not look like it will stand the weather outside.
The cameras seem to work, but I haven't found any software that provides expected basic features to utilize the cameras. I use the vscam app, but it is missing controls for rewind, fast forward, pause, screenshot, and download footage from camera.
Had Four of these cameras in the last 12 months and Two have recently failed, they will not connect to wifi or reset or operate after a short period of being plugged in, As I'm now expecting the other cameras to fail I'll not be buying any more of this brand.
Very bad service they sell products and when the product is damaged they tell you buy a new one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointing you throw your money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad post-sales customer support. I asked for help setting up a Vstarcam ip cam and the support service just told me: “ connect the LAN cable to see the camera remotely”. What answer is it? The Eye4 program to view the ipcam is poor and limited and does not use it remotely. Bad purchase. Bad customer support
I bought a home ip camera and found out after installing an app on my iPhone 6 that the feature of pushing notifications does not work. I contacted their support by mail several times explaning the problem in details but every time I received a one sentence answer in a very bad English (Google translate???) which I really couldn't use at all. For example I received a manual for android phone, even if I stated in my mail that I have an iPhone. Then I was told that there is a new version of app for iPhone which supports the notifications and that I should download it. When I asked (twice) how to get this version (the last version available in app store is still the one I have installed), I have never received any answer. This is not what I call for "support". I give them 2 stars because they at least tried to respond a couple of times even if it did not help me at all. For me the experience with the product and the company was: waste of money and time.
