Hi Nura, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we’d like to clarify the situation for transparency. You initially contacted WPX regarding a lost credit card and asked about restoring your hosting service. Our Support team correctly informed you that at that moment, there was only one pending invoice for your domain renewal, since the hosting renewal invoice had already expired and the plan was terminated. We then informed you that in order to activate your hosting plan you would need to generate and pay a restoration invoice. You then generated a restoration invoice, which was automatically paid using the payment method you had previously saved and authorized for future automated payments of outstanding invoices, as indicated in your billing settings. Once the invoice was paid, your hosting plan was fully restored. Subsequently, you requested a refund for the hosting restoration invoice, which we processed in full as a gesture of goodwill. Since the refund was issued for the restoration payment, your hosting plan was automatically terminated again, as refunded services cannot remain active. Afterward, you requested a new restoration invoice, which we issued, and once it was paid, your hosting plan was again successfully restored. At no point did WPX process any unauthorized charges. All payments were made through your WPX account using a payment method manually saved and authorized by you for future use. This process is standard across all major service providers and ensures continuity of service. We understand your frustration regarding the currency exchange difference, but this is handled entirely by the card issuer, not by WPX. Nonetheless, our team fully refunded the original transaction in good faith, even though the services were already delivered. We take all client concerns seriously and have verified that communication from our team was accurate and consistent with our policies. Hi Sonia, We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, but we’d like to clarify the situation for transparency. You originally submitted a cancellation request in April, which we processed, and your hosting plan was terminated at the end of May, as confirmed by our system logs and your own screenshots. In June, you contacted our Support team requesting backups of your websites. Our agent explained that, to access backups, your hosting plan needed to be temporarily restored. You agreed to this and manually generated a restoration invoice on June 20, which was paid for by the bank card you had manually set up to be used for automatic payments of generated invoices. Even so, and despite all payments being valid and authorized, we issued a full goodwill refund of the amount you requested to resolve the matter amicably. At WPX, we never charge customers without authorization. Every transaction is initiated by the account holder through our secure billing system, and clients have full control over manual or automated payment methods, renewals, and cancellations directly within their accounts. We wish you the best with your new host and remain available if you’d like us to provide documentation of all account activity, chat transcripts, and logs related to your case. — The WPX Team
