I purchased this software to recover some archived contact files from my computer which I accidentally permanently deleted. The software seemed to work as advertised and recovered a huge number of files. However, I was unable to find my files because I could not identify the location and types of the files I was looking for so it was a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. I would say this software is not so great for the layman. That said, I contacted the company’s support centre by email and had a very positive experience. Echo Zhou was very interested in understanding my problem and showed me where to find certain files that would help them to understand the problems I encountered. In exchange for this information they provided me with a full refund which I received today. Though disappointed I could not recover my files, I was pleased that this company stands behind its product.

I was not able to recover my data from the WD easystore 20 TB which false ejected and lost 60% of what I had. I also was not able to recover my data from my WD my passport 4 TB, which I deleted by accident and wanted to retrieve. The data showed itself but once I "recovered" it, it was corrupted and the MKV files would not play. Complete waste of time and money. I am giving it two stars because they were nice enough to refund me $40 (half of what I paid), but the way I see it I still paid $40 for a product that failed me twice. If I have any luck with the product in the future, I will come back and revise the review. For now, this is a fair account of the events, and I think all customers should know this coming into the situation so they can avoid wasting time, money, and computer processing scanning their files. Although i faced a problem this this app the response of the people of this app was too fast. I think some parts need improvement but it is a excellent app. It found most of the files which were lost from my damaged hdd.

I was truly impressed at how easy Anyrecover software was to use.
