First, Basis Pet provides an excellent, quality product made in the USA. Secondly, there was a minor issue with my order and they gave multiple options for me to choose how I wanted it resolved. They always respond immediately to requests for information and this is important to me as a diligent consumer. I definitely recommend Basis Pet to conscientious buyers looking for healthy pet products and great customer service.
GOOD PRODUCTS, SHIPPING, AND OVERALL SERVICE.
I wanted food & water bowls which would be safe for my cat & would last many years. I've always heard stainless steel are the best choice. Because of that I bought 2 of those type of bowls at PETCO & PetSmart. In both stores I chose the most expensive ones thinking they would be of better quality. It never occurred to me that they would sell items that could harm my beloved cat. After using the PETCO bowl for the 1st time it began rusting. I searched online reviews & found out that I had purchased 2 low quality stainless steel products made in India. They are so harmful for pets' health that there had been a recall for both brands in previous years. Nevertheless, they were still selling them at PETCO & PetSmart during this summer (2015). Fortunately my cat only used them once & didn't get sick. I immediately returned both bowls & researched for a trusted & local product. That's how I got to know Basis Pet. It's a US family owned business. Their website has a lot of information about the importance of choosing a certified stainless steel product. In addition they have a money back guarantee. Everyone loved them at Amazon & many other pet related websites, therefore I decided to order 2 bowls. Ordering was easy & even though I live in Puerto Rico my bowls arrived in less than a week. The package includes very detailed instructions on how to clean & use the products. Because of that, and their great customer service, Basis Pet has answered me more questions about feeding bowls that my own Vet. The "real" reviewer, my cat, love the bowls since day one & is spilling substantially less food on the floor. She seems very relaxed & happy whenever she approaches her feeding area. I am very grateful to have found a brand that is a completely safe option for my animal companion.

This is an awesome product. I was looking for a good quality bowl for a puppy, that will last and will support pets health - pretty basic, they eat from it every day. First I checked big brand stores for stainless steel made in the US , but I couldn't find anything. Because this is an item we are going to use for years to come I wanted to get something made in USA as I believe the quality is better and I love the idea to support people who made an effort to create things here. The owner really takes pride in his work and that shows. If I can spend my money here I rather do that. This bowls are great, it was a pleasure to open the package and see such pretty product - you can't find those in stores. They are also sturdy, won't break or get chewed (like plastic ones) by a puppy. They have some weight and do fine whiteout holders. I ordered 2 medium ones, which will be perfect from puppy to adulthood. If you are looking for a quality bowls, these are a super choice.
This is a high quality product. The stands were easy to assemble and the bowls are very nice. I love that they are made in the USA. My order was shipped promptly, packaged well, and arrived in good condition. My only suggestion would be to make an XL size bowl and stand. I have a Great Dane, and the large works for food because I divide his meals and feed him twice daily. If I larger size had been available, I would have bought it as a water bowl - but the large size that is offered is too small for this purpose --and would require me filling it multiple times a day. Just a suggestion for a product that giant dog owners would love!

i ordered 2 bowls and the 2 bowl holder I love the holder, it goes together so easily and is nicely elevated i like the quality of the bowls and am pleased by this company's efforts to be sure the quality is not just good but great. They understand how we feel about our pets.
We initially ordered the 2-pk medium size dog bowls. They were individually wrapped and packaged to avoid damage during shipping. There was a personal letter from the owner thanking us for our purchase as well as care instructions for the bowls. We were very happy with the quality and weight of the bowls. Though the bowls were great we did however have to exchange them for a smaller size as they were just a little to big for our dogs. We emailed Basis Pet on Sunday evening and were surprised that we got an email that night from Mike, the owner. He emailed us a prepaid shipping label to mail the medium size bowls back and stated that the smaller bowls would be mailed out to us the next day. Twelve days later we still hadn't received the bowls so we emailed Mike to check on the status of our order. He emailed us back apologizing that the small bowls had not been shipped out as promised. He stated that he refunded us the full price of the returned bowls and will not charge us for the new bowls he is sending out on Monday. We could not be happier with the quality of the bowls and superior customer service we received from the owner of Basis Pet. We would highly recommend this company.
My dad found your website when we were looking for American made dog bowls, which we thought we weren't going to find. We ordered a set of small & medium bowls. They shipped quickly & I absolutely love the way they look. Overall, an awesome product & a great way to support American companies/workers!
My pup's health and well-being are important. My strategy for her includes never buying anything made in China. I needed some new stainless bowls, but they're now made in China as well. So, I searched online and found USA-made bowls with these folks. They'll be my go-to source from now on!
