2nd time engaging clubvivre because we had a good experience the first time. First time round the chef's assistant was kind enough to help out with clearing and washing some of the dishes from earlier courses before they left. This time round the assistant refused to clear some of the earlier empty dishes even when requested as it was cluttering up the table. Yes we did not hire additional service staff to do a full cleanup and it's fine if she did not want to wash them but it would be common courtesy to at least help to clear the table when it was in such a mess. It was only upon requesting again that she begrudgingly cleared 2 dishes away. The food also fell short of expectations this time round. Two of the dishes were too salty and oily. The desert was too sweet. Overall a disappointing repeat experience.
i was looking forward to a home fine dining experience at my friend's place. the food had hits and misses and overall service was poor. definitely overrated and not worth the money. i have had much better food at restaurants. it was better than homecooked but definitely far from fine dining.
Customer service was quick to respond. Booking and reservation were no hassle. They really did a good job creating a nice ambience for the dinner as per my request. Not to mention, the food was phenomenal.
Had the pleasure of engaging a Clubvivre chef for a dinner party with colleagues and friends. Booking process and event date set-up was smooth and convenient, the meal was delicious, and the chef was personable and engaging. Clean up took quite a bit of time after dinner, but the chef and service team were a great help. Would book Clubvivre again!
Clubvivre's chefs are really friendly, completely opposite of what I thought before about chefs: grumpy and loud. Even our kids love your chefs! Good job!
