Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and professional tour guides who make every trip memorable and deeply engaging for everyone in the group. Reviewers also deeply appreciate the seamless organization, comfortable accommodations, and well-planned itineraries that smoothly cover breathtaking landscapes, sacred temples, and various cultural sites.
However, some people mentioned that the long bus rides could be physically challenging and rather uncomfortable during extended travel days. Some travelers noted that spending many long hours on the road left limited opportunities to independently explore the local destinations along the route.
Our guide Lhakdon was incredible, so knowledgeable, kind, and generous with her time and energy. Any question we had, whether about Tibet, the altitude, or the programme, Lhakdon went above and beyond in answering. Overall the trip visited all the major must-see places in Tibet, a good balance of Tibetan culture and the Tibetan mountains and landscapes. The agency, Tibet Vista, was responsive whenever there was an issue.
It was great experience in Tibet.
We were guided around by Kunga who gave us a great experience of Lhasa and E BC
Especially the knowledge of Tibetan
history and its customs was helpful to get a good understanding of Tibetan life. We highly recommend Kunga who is knowledgeable, speaks great English and is a great person.
My wonderful experience. First contact people she the…

Our journey starts on11/5/2025,where we were picked up by driver of Tibet Vista.Next morning we met our tour guide Lhakdo stated tour, things went well, weather was nice. We are very lucky to have Lhakdo as a tour guide, she is knowledgeable, helpful kind enthusiastic.Especially when I had an altitude sickness , she tried very hard to help me. Even try to carry my bag .
The only problem occurred when on our final days tour, as charged by Tibet Vista, we travelled over 3 hours on totally unsuitable road to visit Holly Elephant Gate . As soon as we arrived view area,a police man approached Lhakdo, and told her we should not be there , we should leave immediately. Even though we had government papers to justify our staying. Lhakdo carmly spoke with the policeman for some time but could not change his mind.so we had to return on the same dirt road another 3 hours just to get to the bitumen and another 3or more hours back to the hotel all the time Lhakdo heard mine and others complaints patiently and calmed us down and arranged a solution that seemed to satisfy all where the company paid for our lunch and made an immediate refund of 300 Chinese yuan per person and a formal apology written by the company that everyone accepted. In general I am satisfied with my experience and would recommend the company
Lhakdon is very good and patient tour guide. She is willing to help and solve the problem whenever we have. Also, we would like to visit 扎基寺 which is outside of our program, she is willing to spend her own time (after settle all the remaining travelers) and bring us to this 扎基寺。Well done Lhakdon, hope to see you in my next visit to Tibet.
We booked our trip with Vista, and everything was very well organized from the beginning—including visa arrangements and the full coordination of our journey. Our guide, Joy, who speaks perfect English, accompanied us for four days and impressed us with her extensive knowledge. Her sense of humor and kindness made the trip a truly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Vista!
Pasang: The heart and soul of our unforgettable Kailash journey
Our guide Pasang was an amazing soul! He is a very experienced guide and in a very short timeframe, he made connections with us all and it was good vibes all around! He reads the room very well and balances the timings of his knowledge sharing and joining in with the group in singing and dancing. We highly recommend him. He made us extremely comfortable, his English is excellent, he could read the room, he throughly prepared us for the Kailash Kora and every place he took us. He had an excellent sense of humour, is very spiritual, shared lots of Buddhist beliefs and traditions with us along the 13 days. He knew when to share what. I personally could complete the Kailash Kora with his guidance. He ensured we were thoroughly prepared, along the way he did lots of little things to make us as comfortable like helping us with the backpacks and other very caring deeds. Along the Kailash Kora, at 1 point he uprighted a rubbish bin (drum) which had toppled down and he placed all the rubbish back in it together with stones. We highly recommend Pasang and will be sharing our experience with all our friends.
We had the most amazing guide, Lhakdon, and driver, Namdul, who made this trip unforgettable. Lhakdon had a wealth of knowledge which she shared with us and was so kind and compassionate and tailored the activities to our needs. Nothings was too much trouble and she supported us at all times. She gave us options which was very helpful on our last day when she discovered the border checkpoint was only open from 12.30 and we chose to cross into Nepal a day early which meant a long day for both guide and driver, but they were more than happy to do the best for us. Namdul was a perfect driver - always safe and never taking risks, and stopping for photo opportunities when they arose - what a patient man! Altogether an unbelievable experience from start to finish. Thank you.
Kun Chuck is a prepared and kind guide. He was always available and smiling.
The tour is well organized.
Before the tour’s start:
- you can give the information for the Nepal Visa: only payment by cash in USD dollars, Yuan or Nepalese rupees.
- You can send a pdf with all the information about the religion, Buddishm and Dalai Lamas because it will help to understand better all the information once in Tibet.
A great experience with an experienced guide with us which make our tour more enjoyable and smooth
Thank you Tin tin taking care of all our needs and definitely a guy which will recommend to our friend and family coming for tibet tour
The experience in Tibet was absolutely amazing! Especially with our guide Lobsang he is just the kindest person and explained everything so wonderfully. I will recommend the trip to my friends but only when they get Lobsang as a guide. The experience wouldn’t be the same without him.
We had an unforgettable trip to Tibet, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Tian Jin (aka Tin Tin) from Tibet Vista. Many of us struggled with altitude sickness, but Tin Tin took such great care of everyone—always checking in, making sure we were comfortable, and helping us adapt so we could enjoy the journey and complete our itinerary safely.
What really stood out was his passion. He genuinely loves sharing the beauty and culture of Tibet, and his energy made every site we visited more engaging and meaningful. He’s also very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm.
Tin Tin is truly a 5-star guide. If I ever come back to Tibet, I’ll definitely request him again. Highly recommended to anyone planning a trip to this amazing place—Tin Tin will make it even better!
Unforgettable Tibetan Adventure: From Monasteries to Everest’s Heights
I participated in an 8-day tour with Tibet Vista, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. Our journey included visits to Lhasa, Shigatse, and the iconic Everest Base Camp, where we spent the night at an altitude of 5,200 meters. In Lhasa and Shigatse, we explored magnificent and historically significant Buddhist monasteries, which provided profound insights into Tibetan culture and spiritual traditions. This trip was truly unforgettable, largely thanks to our outstanding guide, Lobsang, who accompanied us throughout the entire journey. His deep knowledge of Buddhist culture and the Tibetan landscape, combined with his professionalism and friendly nature, made our experience even more enriching. I also greatly appreciate our driver, Lhakpa, who safely transported us across hundreds of kilometers of challenging terrain. The entire tour was well-organized and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
The tour was very interesting. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot. Lobsang our guide was very informative, entertaining and patient, especially with one tight, moaning Minnie, who didnt seem at all interested in anything. The rest of our group really enjoyed it. I suffered quite a bit with altitude sickness, especially at the base camp, but it was worth it. The two hotels I stayed in were both very good, except for the breakfasts that were Chinese more than anything else. I really lucked out in the first hotel where I had a sitting room, a bedroom, two bathrooms and a terrace, far nicer than anyone else's room.
I had one of the best trips with Lobsang and most of the other group members during the 8 days in Tibet. Tibet was incredible and Lobsang made sure that we all experienced the true Tibetan lifestyle and culture.
Lobsang was extremely patient and super friendly at all times. He answered all of the questions we had, he was never tired of us, always up for a joke with the group and he always adjusted his program to our own wishes and needs. All in all it was an unforgettable, impressive and extraordinary trip that I will recommend anyone to experience once in their life.
Tibet is a fascinating and beautiful country and the tour options from Tibet Vista make it possible for tourists to experience this. The booking process was easy, assisted by Gemma, and everything went more or less to plan. The hotels exceeded our expectations and were very comfortable. Most importantly, our guide Kun Chok was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with all the questions fired at him. It is a busy tour and he made sure we were well informed about every stage. We recommend him highly.
Thank you Joy for guiding us through our Tibet journey. We learned a lot about Tibet history and its culture and had opportunities to experience it via dancing with villagers, visiting a local family and monasteries.
We also enjoyed beautiful Tibet nature. Big thank to our driver Duoji, who safely brought us to far corners of Tibet through scary mountain roads. Within only a few days we were in cold winter, in blossoming spring and under the heating sun.
Regarding the travel company itself I appreciate very much hotels they choose (we stayed in 5 different places): 4 stars, sometimes old, sometimes new but always appropriate quality and good to sleep in. Also, the company provided oxygen balloons. We did not use it but it was a good feeling to know that we could take it if needed.
Both our organiser Holly and guide Lhakdon were very responsive and informative. Having travelled to Bhutan before, I didn’t think I would suffer altitude sickness but unfortunately it affected me. We only spent two nights but I suggest a longer period just so the body can acclimatise better. Tibet is a beautiful place surrounded by breathtaking mountains that is a must see on everyone’s bucket list
